Managing Heritage Data

Heritage Data is responsible for the development and management of the national historic environment databases of buildings and sites in England and its territorial waters, together known as the 'Heritage Data Sets', and the development of the National Monument Record's heritage information partnerships with others.

Core activities underpinning these responsibilities include the creation, management and dissemination of data standards and data models, the application of spatial technologies, and the provision of data related training and documentation.

If you would like to find out more about the work of Heritage Data please look at our Quick Guide - What we do?  or contact us at  HDMinfo@english-heritage.org.uk
