Open Book Guided Tours at Carlisle Castle

Carlisle Castle at Night A brand new special guided tour has been developed by Open Book Guided Tours. Visitors to Carlisle Castle with walking difficulties can now explore this formidable fortress and hear about its fascinating 900 year history without having to climb up to the walls and keep or clamber down into the dungeons. The guides explore sections of the castle such as the Roman Dig Exhibition which are accessible and use visual aids to talk about the areas which are  inaccessible. 

The tour lasts for an hour and costs £2 per person.
